About the Team DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash. We explore robotics and automation to transform last-mile logistics in the long term. If you have a passion for applying autonomous aviation technologies in a service used by millions of people, then we want to talk to you! About the Role This role is the day-to-day backbone of the region's workforce. You'll support your manager on coverage across every site — flagging gaps early and stepping in to close them. Training and compliance, though, are yours to own: you run it, keep it current, and make sure every worker's records stay accurate and audit-ready at all times. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Create an Impact: • Own day-to-day scheduling across every site in the region • Monitor and manage our flexible staffing platforms — filling coverage gaps and keeping the workforce pool running smoothly • Onboard and train new workers joining the temporary staffing network • Keep training and onboarding records accurate and up to date, and run regular check-ins so the team is always ready • Help make sure every site stays staffed, every shift — stepping in personally, including as a runner between sites and merchant locations • Contribute feedback and ideas that strengthen processes, product experiences, and regional reliability. • Identify where training is missing and create new content to close the gap Team Collaboration: • Be the first call for your manager — flagging coverage or compliance issues before they turn into bigger problems • Mentor and provide day-to-day guidance to your teammates and the temporary and contract workforce • Build positive, trusted relationships with merchants and local partners Communication: • Represent the program with professionalism in every interaction • Keep your manager in the loop on coverage and training status, clearly and proactively • Share on-the-ground observations that help improve the service and strengthen community adoption We’re excited about you because… • You've done this kind of work before — operations, logistics, scheduling, or leading a team (bonus points for last-mile delivery experience) • Comfortable managing a flexible workforce through a staffing platform tool • Strong organizational habits — this role owns compliance and training records • Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license, as the role requires regional travel between sites and runner coverage to merchant locations • A positive, can-do attitude and comfort operating with more autonomy and a broader scope of ownership What You’ll Learn: • How workforce and scheduling operations power an emerging drone delivery service • How to manage a flexible workforce through a staffing platform as the program grows • Cross-functional collaboration with regional leadership We expect this position to be filled by 11-30-2026 Compensation Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location. DoorDash cares about you and your overall well-being.
