How SponsorApply actually works

Know before you apply. Everything below describes how the platform behaves today — not marketing. Where something has a limit, the limit is stated.

Where jobs come from

Every job is fetched live from a permitted source: employers' own Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and SmartRecruiters boards, public career-site APIs (such as Amazon), open job feeds (Arbeitnow, Remotive, The Muse, RemoteOK), and reviewed direct employer posts. Zero jobs are hardcoded, AI-generated or invented. Right now: 41,914 live jobs from real sources.

Freshness & expiry

Company boards refresh every 6 hours; aggregated feeds every 12. When a job disappears from its employer's own board it is expired immediately; aggregated jobs unseen for 14 days are expired. Every job shows when it was first discovered and last confirmed.

No unauthorized scraping

SponsorApply never scrapes LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri or any protected portal, and never bypasses CAPTCHAs, logins or rate limits. Only public, permitted APIs and feeds.

Employer vs vacancy evidence

These are never mixed. Employer-level: government records (USCIS H-1B Data Hub, UK Home Office sponsor register, Canada's positive-LMIA list, the Dutch IND register) show an employer has sponsored or is licensed to. Vacancy-level: only the posting's own words. A green badge means a government record backs it; an employer's claim is always labeled as a claim. Limits: our US data is the USCIS FY2023 approvals file only, and no other country is register-verified yet.

What AI does — and can't

AI models (from OpenAI or Anthropic) score how well your resume fits a job and draft tailored resumes and cover letters from your own profile facts only. They are instructed never to invent experience, dates, qualifications, citizenship, visa status or salary history — but AI can make mistakes, so review every document before you use it. AI never generates job listings.

How application assistance works

No auto-apply. SponsorApply prepares a tailored resume + cover letter pack for each job you choose (or, with Auto-Pilot, for your best new matches each day). You review it and submit it yourself on the employer's official application page. SponsorApply never submits an application on your behalf.

Your data

Your resume and profile are used to match and prepare applications — nothing else. No selling data. The services that process it for us (AI, email, hosting, payments) are listed in the Privacy Policy. Google sign-in requests only openid/email/profile (never Gmail contents). Want everything deleted? Email hello@sponsorapply.com from your account address.

Honest numbers, honest stories

Statistics on this site are computed from the database through one shared metrics service, not typed in. Product previews and illustrative stories are clearly labeled “Example”; real testimonials are published only with permission and show the rating the person actually gave.

Not immigration advice

Sponsorship history, register membership and work-route information are indicators from public data — never a guarantee of sponsorship, a visa, or approval. SponsorApply is not a law firm. For decisions that matter, consult a licensed immigration professional.

Report a suspicious job

Spotted a listing that looks wrong — dead link, misleading claim, possible scam? Email hello@sponsorapply.com with the job link and it will be reviewed and quarantined if warranted.
