We're looking for a Payroll Program Manager to help scale Figma's global payroll operations and lead complex payroll initiatives across AMER and EMEA, with support for APAC initiatives as needed. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that combines deep payroll expertise with program management, operational execution, and cross-functional partnership. You'll drive delivery of payroll initiatives from planning through implementation, including vendor implementations, new-country launches, process improvements, systems integrations, automation, and other initiatives that span Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, Accounting, People, and external partners. You'll also stay close to payroll operations and provide processing or review support when needed. As Figma continues to grow globally, this role will help create more scalable, consistent, and efficient payroll processes while ensuring regional teams have the support they need to deliver accurate and timely payroll. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you’ll do at Figma: • Lead delivery of payroll initiatives from planning through implementation, including vendor transitions, new-country launches, system integrations, and process changes • Partner with regional Payroll teams to define requirements, manage dependencies, identify risks, and drive projects to completion • Work closely with Benefits, HRIS, Accounting, People, and other partners to translate business changes into effective payroll solutions • Partner with global payroll vendors to drive project delivery, resolve implementation or operational issues, and escalate risks as needed • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve payroll processes across regions • Support payroll operations across the full cycle, including review, validation, troubleshooting, and processing coverage when needed • Help establish scalable program management practices, documentation, and visibility across the global payroll portfolio • Use data, technology, automation, and AI where appropriate to improve payroll efficiency, controls, and Figmate experience We'd love to hear from you if you have: • 8+ years of experience in global or multi-country payroll, including hands-on support across AMER and EMEA • Proven experience leading payroll implementations, vendor transitions, system integrations, or other complex payroll programs, including international expansion or new-country launches • Hands-on knowledge of payroll operations from processing through reconciliation and issue resolution • Experience working with global payroll vendors and cross-functional stakeholders; Workday experience required • Excellent program management, prioritization, and execution skills, with the ability to influence and drive accountability across teams without direct authority, and strong judgment and communication in a high-growth global environment While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have: • Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment • Hands-on experience with ADP Compliance and other international vendors • Experience supporting APAC payroll operations, vendor consolidation, or global payroll transformation • Familiarity with equity, mobility
