Title and Summary Lead, Product Management-Technical Overview Mastercard seeks to define a world beyond cash. To accelerate this mission, we are committed to building and scaling products as well as applications that transform payments of any type through consistent customer experiences. The Customer Connectivity Reactive Services Architecture Program (“RSA”) was created to allow Mastercard developers to focus on their business requirements while RSA takes care of the non-functional requirements related to event and message management. As a Lead Product Management-Technical in RSA, you will be responsible for developing a product roadmap, derived from business needs, market opportunities, and technology trends. You will decompose business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the platform/product roadmap while working alongside a cross-functional team. Role • Identifies gaps and new platform capabilities as required • Makes use of research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to understand the platform and business needs • Uses runtime metrics of their services in market as a feedback loop in to the backlog and balances the priorities against new feature requests • Exhibits expertise within platform feature area and coordinates with interdependent teams • Digests business customer requirements (user stories, use cases) and platform requirements for a platform feature set • Continuously monitors feature development at the feature level • Reviews product demo with the development team against acceptance criteria for the feature set • Prepares launches and monitors platform performances, adoption, and operational health for feature sets • Coordinates internal forums to collect and identify feature-level development opportunities • Owns and manages product documentation; enables self-service support and/or works to reduce overhead About You • Take the time to fully learn the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems supporting your product • Understand and can explain the business context and the associated customer use cases • Proficient at grooming user stories, setting entrance/exit criteria and prioritizing a platform product backlog • Understand the technologies supporting the platform product and are able to hold your own in debates cross-functionally • Verbal and written communication is clear and concise Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
