As a Principal Financial Analyst – Service & Repair Finance Process Improvement, you will act as a global finance subject matter expert, improving and standardising accounting and finance processes supporting the Service & Repair organisation. You will connect accounting requirements, business operations, data and SAP capabilities to simplify processes, improve data quality and strengthen financial controls. Working across Finance, Accounting, Operations and IT, you will lead process improvements, automation and harmonisation initiatives in a complex global environment. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: • Act as a global subject matter expert for Service & Repair accounting processes, including service orders, repairs, parts and inventory, revenue and costs, warranty, intercompany activities, accruals and month-end close. • Analyse end-to-end finance processes and SAP transaction flows to identify gaps, manual activities, control weaknesses, data-quality issues and opportunities for improvement. • Translate business and accounting requirements into clear process designs, functional requirements, testing scenarios, procedures and control documentation. • Lead or support SAP improvements covering master data, automated postings, account determination, workflows, interfaces, reporting and exception handling. • Drive harmonisation of accounting processes across regions, balancing global standards with appropriate local requirements. • Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, Operations, Global Process Owners and other stakeholders to implement practical, compliant and sustainable solutions. • Improve month-end and year-end processes by reducing manual work, strengthening reconciliations and resolving recurring issues through root-cause analysis. • Establish process governance and performance measures, provide management reporting and recommendations, and identify further opportunities for standardisation, automation and continuous improvement. Required Knowledge and Experience: • 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, controllership, finance transformation or process improvement. • Strong knowledge of accounting processes within an ERP environment, preferably SAP, including General Ledger, automated postings, account determination, reconciliations and financial reporting. • Solid understanding of service operations, repair, aftermarket, field service, inventory, parts, warranty or similar transaction-intensive business models. • Proven ability to lead or contribute to global process harmonisation, finance transformation, automation or continuous-improvement initiatives. • Strong process analysis and problem-solving skills, including documenting current and future processes, defining requirements and performing root-cause analysis. • Understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements and the impact of process and system changes on financial reporting. • Strong Excel skills and confi
