The Procurement and Vendor Management Office (VMO) is Robinhood's central team for engaging and managing third-party vendors and partners across the company. We manage complex commercial relationships for Robinhood. We partner closely with Legal, Risk, Finance, and business leaders to help Robinhood source, negotiate, and manage vendor and partner relationships that power our products and operations. You'll work alongside the smartest sourcing and contracting specialists who understand the marketplace well, take ownership of their categories, and fluently use AI to deliver great results, fast! It's a collaborative, high-accountability team where your expertise directly shapes how Robinhood spends and protects its resources! As a Senior Sourcing Manager, you'll own end-to-end sourcing and contracting for a portfolio of vendor categories, run market research, perform competitive bidding, lead negotiations, and drive contract execution. You'll partner directly with senior Business Owners, Commercial Legal, and Risk stakeholders to translate their needs into sourcing strategies that deliver measurable savings and reduce risk. You'll bring a data-driven lens to your category management, using metrics to identify opportunities and track the impact of your work. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role for someone to influence how Robinhood engages vendors and partners. This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA, New York, NY, and Chicago, IL offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. What you’ll do • Own and execute the sourcing and contracting strategy for an assigned portfolio of vendor categories / cost centers, including market research, vendor identification, competitive bidding, negotiations, selection, and contracting • Lead negotiations on complex vendor contracts, delivering quantifiable savings and reduced risk • Partner with Business Owners and senior stakeholders to maximize value from vendors and partners in terms of service quality and procurement savings • Collaborate with and actively influence Commercial Legal, Tax, Finance, and Risk partners to drive risk-intelligent processes and protocols throughout the sourcing lifecycle • Maintain a deep understanding of vendor markets and trends, and build a clear understanding of how third-party vendors and partners support Robinhood's core business objectives • Use metrics and data to identify logical category clusters and develop sourcing strategies and category management plans tailored to each • Embrace AI-powered automation and use data
