The pay range is $75,400.00 - $135,700.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. As an Engineer, you serve as a technical specialist delivering the engineering that powers the product. You develop keen insight into the technical architecture and design to deliver robust and scalable software components. You are keen to learn the design and architecture of the product and participate in ceremonies that can influence both.   About this Team: The Trend Brain team builds intelligence gathering and research automation tools to enrich and accelerate the design process at Target.   Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals.  As an engineer, you’ll take the lead as you… • Integrate new sources of trend signal into our automated multi-agent trend-sensing ecosystem. • Implement, deploy, scale and maintain agentic workflows in partnership with data scientists. • Provide a combination of traditional and agentic capabilities to Target’s merchants, trend researchers and designers to help keep Target make timely, informed decisions about what consumers want. • Ensure that our rapidly growing trend research ecosystem produces consistent, actionable, transparent results. • Help our team stay abreast of a rapidly evolving GenAI ecosystem.   Core responsibilities are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.   About you: • 4 year degree or equivalent experience • 1+ years of software development experience • Demonstrates familiarity with current and emerging technologies in own scope of responsibility, and develops ability to apply these technologies • GenAI plays a central role in this product. Successful candidates will demonstrate both experience with and sustained interest in the evolving GenAI ecosystem. • Understands concepts of package solutions and package specific programming language with knowledge of development objects. • Demonstrates proficiency in at least one computer language. Preferably Python and emerging GenAI Python frameworks. • Demonstrates knowledge of different persistence and indexing strategies to support efficient, reliable data retrieval. • Understands the concepts of distributed programming and applies it to their domain • Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise • Demonstrates strong computer
