Senior Program Manager - Proprietary Program Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager - Proprietary Program (Level M) to join the Rapid Space Capabilities Program Management team in Albuquerque, NM ! The Senior Manager will ensure safe, reliable, and mission-focused optical test, operations, and evaluation activities supporting government and commercial customers. This role combines program management, technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and facility stewardship. Position Responsibilities Include: • Manages employees and mid-level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes • Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) • This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only • Bachelor degree or higher or equivalent experience • 10+ years performing in a leadership role • 5+ years of experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions • 5+ years of experience working with Earn Value Management (EVM) • Experience preparing and presenting executive level briefings Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Master’s Degree or higher • Directly participates in establishing, managing and administering multiple projects concurrently • Experience in developing and managing technical, cost, and schedule metrics and technical performance measures (TPM) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
