The Opportunity This position works out of our Austin, TX location in the Heart Failure Division and supports the U.S. HeartMate business. Abbott’s HeartMate portfolio provides durable mechanical circulatory support for people with advanced heart failure. The Product Marketing Manager role is a senior individual contributor who translates U.S. portfolio strategy into high-impact commercialization, market development, customer engagement, and sales enablement programs. Reporting to the U.S. downstream marketing leader, this role independently leads complex initiatives and cross-functional workstreams for assigned products and priorities. The role contributes recommendations and market insights while the downstream marketing leader retains accountability for overall U.S. portfolio strategy, prioritization, budget allocation, and business performance. What You'll Work On • Lead assigned U.S. commercialization initiatives from insight and planning through execution, measurement, and optimization. • Develop and execute product marketing plans aligned with the U.S. HeartMate portfolio strategy, annual operating plan, brand standards, and approved claims. • Own defined product launches, lifecycle initiatives, market development programs, or strategic workstreams, including objectives, milestones, dependencies, risks, and post-launch assessment. • Translate customer, field, clinical, competitive, and market insights into clear recommendations, positioning, messaging, and executable programs. • Develop messaging frameworks, sales enablement tools, training content, customer-facing resources, and integrated campaign briefs. • Partner with Sales leadership and field teams to identify adoption barriers, gather structured feedback, and improve program effectiveness. • Analyze program performance, market trends, competitive activity, and business results; communicate insights and recommended actions to downstream marketing leadership. • Lead cross-functional teams across Sales, Training and Education, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, Finance, Global Marketing, and Marketing Communications without direct authority. • Represent U.S. downstream marketing on assigned global and cross-functional teams and ensure U.S. market requirements are accurately reflected. • Manage approved project budgets, agencies, vendors, timelines, and deliverables for assigned
