About the role
Job Description Overview: Cradle to grave responsibility of new and existing vehicle programs comprising of various tasks across the Global Vehicle/Propulsion Development cycle focused on the Demand Supply organization including support for Accessories and Customer Care & Aftersales. The Demand & Supply Planning Manager leads cross-functional efforts to forecast demand, align supply plans, and identify and resolve long-term capacity constraints. This role uses data and analytical tools to support strategic decisions across planning horizons, improve collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and provide clear visibility into supply limitations. Leads multiple initiatives and drives the continuous improvement of planning tools, processes, and capabilities. What You’ll Do: • Manage project status, sufficiency plans, issue closure, and performance metrics. • Develop, review, approve, and maintain Global Tooling Letters and vehicle/part Lean Capacity Rates. • Conduct capacity simulations and studies for future content, program milestones, and production changes. • Identify and resolve demand–supply disconnects, capacity constraints, and future supply gaps. • Partner with Purchasing, Scheduling, Program Execution, Program Purchasing, Operations, and suppliers on constraint-resolution plans. • Represent Supply Planning and Supply organizations in cross-functional forums, including PET, ECE, Launch/Vertical Order Fulfillment, and Operations Planning. • Support flawless launches by proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving capacity risks across new vehicle programs. • Drive transparency of capacity issues and track mitigation plans through implementation and closure. • Improve capacity-analysis processes and use available data and tools to identify constraints at least one year in advance. • Perform on-site analysis, develop corrective actions, and support strategic crisis management as needed. • Provide root-cause feedback to advance Global Capacity Management processes. • Support B1 sourcing generation, distribution, and ecosystem maintenance, along with strategic company initiatives. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) : • 2+ years relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, manufacturing, logistics, manufacturing or product development (any internship or co-op experience will not be considered) • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written • Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple, visual terms suitable to a wide cross-section of audiences (data storytelling) • Working knowledge of basic statistical and mathematical tools for problem solving and data analysis • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work in sometimes ambiguous situations • Ability to work in an ever-changing/evolving program environment • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple organizations • Project Management skills • Strong problem-solving capability; strong analytical skills • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills • Managerial courage; ability to stand along What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) : • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, related field • Experience building reports in Power BI GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
