Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Senior Principal Engineer Architect (Systems Engineer) to join our team onsite in  El Segundo, CA . Key Responsibilities: • Assist in development of system architectures. • Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using model-based systems engineering methodologies. • Automation workflow development of multi-disciplined functional processes in support of various engineering and business processes. • Perform system requirements analysis. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our services and become even better at what we do Basic Qualifications: • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 8 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 6 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience. • Must have the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. Preferred Qualifications: • An active U.S. government Secret clearance or higher (with background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). • Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills. • Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders. • Experience in Aerospace Systems. • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering. Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
