Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Staff Systems Architect (Systems Engineer) to join our team in El Segundo, CA. Basic Qualifications: • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 12 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 10 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional/military experience • Must have the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs. • Must have familiarity with Systems Engineering. • Requires up to 20% travel to multiple site locations as needed by the business to support its need. Preferred Qualifications: • Must have experience collaborating across engineering disciplines to architect, design, or implement complex systems. • Must have experience in Model based Systems Engineering (MBSE). • An active U.S. government Secret clearance or higher (with background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). • Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills. • Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders. • Experience in Aerospace Systems. • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering. • Experience with Cameo Enterprise Architecture and the Systems Modeling Language (SysML). Primary Level Salary Range: $177,000.00 - $265,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
