About the role

We are looking for a Python Senior Software Engineer to join the ATP team in Application Platform Domain. As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to work on designing and delivering essential components that empower Doctolib teams to build robust and scalable services. You will be working in a feature team developing the chassis, archetypes, business-agnostic services, cross-cutting concerns and Claude Plugins. You will be working in a platform feature team developing the Python and Java/Kotlin chassis, project archetypes, business-agnostic services, cross-cutting concerns (resilience, security, observability…) and Claude Plugins, used by more than 60 services across Doctolib. Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with product, design, and business teams. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features to improve the Doctolib platform • Take a leading role within the team and contribute to establishing a technical vision that ensures the performance, security, and usability of the platform, taking into account the future needs and the high scalability needs • Bring your expertise and experiences to help us continuously improve the way we implement, test, and monitor high-quality features • Improving the performance of key features implemented in Python, sometimes completely challenging the status quo • Taking leadership on delivering roadmap items (together with the team) • Contributing to establishing a technical vision and co-drive the creation of the roadmap for next quarters About our tech environment • Our solutions are built on a single fully cloud-native platform that supports web and mobile app interfaces, multiple languages, and is adapted to the country and healthcare specialty requirements. To address these challenges, we are modularizing our platform run in a distributed architecture through reusable components. • Our stack is composed of Rails, TypeScript, Java, Python, Kotlin, Swift, and React Native. • We leverage AI ethically across our products to empower patients and health professionals.
