About the role

WHY HARVEY At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come. This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched. Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you. At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started. ROLE OVERVIEW Harvey's first Sales Development Representatives in ANZ sit at the front end of how the region grows. Three hires join in the first round as founding members of the outbound function, generating qualified pipeline across Australia and New Zealand — from the region's largest law firms through to the in-house legal teams of major corporates, spanning Enterprise, Mid Market and SMB. Partnering directly with Account Executives, Legal Engineers and Marketing, the role researches target accounts, runs disciplined cold outbound, and converts senior legal stakeholders into first meetings. Legal buyers are among the most considered in software: decisions run across managing partners, general counsel, innovation leaders and IT, and earning a first conversation takes credibility rather than volume alone. There is no regional playbook yet — these hires help write it, alongside an ANZ Sales Development manager being hired in parallel. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own outbound pipeline generation for a named set of accounts across ANZ, spanning top-tier and mid-tier law firms and the in-house legal teams of major Australian and New Zealand organisations. - Research accounts properly before reaching out, developing a point of view on each firm's practice mix, strategic priorities, and where AI could change how its lawyers work. - Run disciplined multi-channel outbound across phone, email, LinkedIn and events to earn first meetings with managing partners, general counsel, innovation leaders and senior legal operations stakeholders. - Qualify inbound demo requests and marketing-generated leads, applying consistent criteria and routing high-intent accounts to the right Account Executive quickly. - Partner closely with Account Executives and Legal Engineers on account planning and pre-meeting context. - Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and pipeline reporting, and iterate on messaging, sequences and target lists, feeding what works back into the regional playbook. WHAT YOU HAVE - 2–3 years of sales experience overall, including at least one outbound sales development role (SDR, BDR or LDR) in B2B SaaS, with a demonstrable record of meeting or exceeding quota. - Evidence of genuine cold outbound: building your own target lists, writing your own sequences, making your own calls — rather than working inbound or warm leads alone. - Experience selling into highly considered buying processes, with comfort engaging senior stakeholders and multi-person buying committees. - Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to
