About the role
About the opportunity At N26, we are transforming how people bank. Our Internal Communications team plays a central role in that journey, partnering closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure N26ers understand what is happening, why it matters, and what it means for them. We are looking for a practical, proactive Senior Specialist to join us on a parental cover contract (2 years, with possibility to extend). Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, you will shape how communications land across the business by creating clear, engaging assets at pace. If you excel at simplifying complex topics and turning information into messaging people truly understand, and you’d like to join a collaborative and engaged team where you can grow, this role is for you. In this role, you will: • Create and deliver multimedia content: Draft engaging emails, newsletters, presentations, intranet content, and videos (using tools like Synthesia) for business priorities, product launches, performance cycles, and people stories. • Manage internal communications delivery and analytics: Maintain the global IC content planner, moderate hybrid company meetings, and continuously measure, report on, and optimize message performance. • Support core operations and intranet project: Hands-on execution of operational comms, including leading content cleanup and migration for N26’s new intranet launch. • Drive cross-functional collaboration: Partner with the CEO Office, People Team, Product Leads, and External Comms to deliver clear, compliant messaging aligned with Works Council and entity-specific requirements. • Provide agile event and emergency support: Assist with high-urgency comms, rapid data gathering, employee feedback analysis, and logistics for events like Hackathons and Recognition Awards. What you need to be successful Background • 5+ years of experience in internal/employee communications within a fast-paced, international, hybrid environment. • Direct experience delivering HR, change, and business strategy communications . • Experience operating effectively in regulated or complex settings with multi-entity and labor/Works Council interdependencies. • Proven track record collaborating directly with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Skills • Language fluency: Fluent (C2) English with strong skills in translating complex or sensitive topics into clear, accessible copy. • Content creation and tools: Meticulous deck-building, basic video editing, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, and tools like Synthesia. • Data and analytics: Comfortable measuring content performance, tracking metrics, and refining strategy based on data. • Execution and detail: Highly organized, delivery-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. • Adaptability and proactivity: Thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
