Title and Summary Legal Compliance Analyst Overview Leveraging Mastercard's global payments network, our account-to-account business provides domestic and cross-border solutions to enable the frictionless future of payments. We help our customers capture business and consumer payment flows through rich messaging functionality, connect and safeguard the Open Banking ecosystem, and protect banks and their customers from financial crime. Open Banking sits within Mastercard's Services team, one of the fastest growing areas of our business, which fuels growth by going beyond the core payments network to deliver solutions in Customer Acquisition and Engagement, Security Solutions, Business and Market Insights, and Open Banking. Together, these offerings help our customers unlock new revenue, deepen consumer relationships, and navigate an increasingly complex digital economy. The Legal Compliance Analys for Open Banking will support our Open Finance business across the Americas. As open banking continue to emerge globally, we need a compliance professional who can read and analyze new laws, translate them into risk assessments, and identify the controls needed to operate in this evolving space. Role • Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Operations: Perform customer due diligence for Open Finance customers, resellers, and distributors, including Customer Identification Program, Customer Due Diligence, and Enhanced Due Diligence reviews, and document risk ratings and decisions • KYC Refresh: Execute periodic refresh and trigger event reviews, including collection of updated documentation, and backlog management to meet service level agreements • Consumer Compliance Operations: Process Consumer Compliance operational queues daily, including consumer manual identity verification requests, privacy requests, and disputes, from intake through documentation review, resolution, and consumer notification • Automation: Identify opportunities to standardize and automate manual operations steps, using automation and AI • Reporting: Track and report Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators, including volumes, aging, and backlog, for monthly and senior management reporting • Pipeline Review: Review the bi-weekly sales opportunity pipeline with sales representatives to confirm deal status and identify higher risk customers ahead of onboarding, and record outcomes in the team tracker • Projects: Participate in cross-functional projects and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business and compliance objectives. All About You • Previous experience in compliance operations, KYC or customer due diligence, or consumer operations within banking, payments, or financial services • Hands-on experience managing a case queue end to end, including intake, research, documentation, resolution, and closure, while meeting service level agreements • Ability to work cases independently with limited supervision, applying written procedures consistently and knowing when to escalate • Working knowledge of KYC and Anti-Money Laundering requirements, including Customer Identification Program, Customer Due Diligence, and Enhanced Due Diligence • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competi
