Job Title Senior Manager, Scientific Communications Job Description Senior Manager, Scientific Communications The Senior Manager, Scientific Communications for Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics leads global scientific communication strategy and execution, developing accurate, clear, and compliant publications, presentations, and regulatory documents aligned with organizational objectives and business priorities. The role partners with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, authors, investigators, and scientific organizations to strengthen the organization’s scientific presence while mentoring junior team members and advancing team performance. Your role: • Lead global scientific communication strategy aligned with organizational objectives, product strategy, and industry standards; develop and refine manuscripts, abstracts, conference presentations, clinical study reports, briefing documents, regulatory dossiers, and other compliant scientific and regulatory content. • Oversee submission, review, approval, and publication workflows; maintain SOPs for evidence capture, device and system performance, safety, and data integrity; and implement best practices that improve communication quality, efficiency, timeliness, and impact. • Partner with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, external authors, investigators, speakers, and scientific organizations to align messaging, support collaborative research, manage strategic relationships, deliver scientific training, and coach junior team members. • Strengthen the organization’s scientific credibility, visibility, and influence by delivering accurate, clear, ethical, and timely communications; success is reflected in compliant publication and regulatory deliverables, on-time dissemination of research findings, effective conference engagement, stakeholder alignment, evidence currency, and achievement of individual and team goals. • Use publication and regulatory document templates, manuscript and presentation software, literature and evidence-management resources, submission and review workflows, SOP repositories, project-tracking tools, and virtual collaboration platforms to develop, approve, track, and disseminate scientific materials. You're the right fit if: • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of experience with a master’s degree in medical or clinical Affairs within the medical device or biotech industry, or an equivalent field. Experience with similar therapeutic area medical device products strongly preferred. • Your skills include commercial and business acumen, Clinical and Medical Affairs expertise, regulatory requirements, stakeholder management, publication planning and execution, technical presentations, communications development, scientific literature reviews, and content authoring tools. • You have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in medical science, Nursing, or an equivalent field; an MD, PhD in Nursing, Medical Science, or an equivalent discipline is strongly preferred. No specific certification is required or preferred. • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position . • Preferred candidates bring 5–7 years of Medical or Clinical Affairs experience in the medical device or biotech industry and can communicate technical and scientific information effectively while influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
