About the role
JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Automation Engineer with 3 years of experience in Python-based test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high software quality. Key Responsibilities Automation Testing * Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python. * Create and execute automated test scripts. * Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort. Test Design & Execution * Analyse functional and technical requirements to create test designs and test cases. * Perform manual testing (functional, regression, sanity, smoke) when required. * Execute test cases and identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA. Collaboration & Agile Practices * Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) * Provide timely status updates and test reports Quality Assurance Best Practices * Implement and follow QA processes, standards, and methodologies * Ensure high quality, performance, and reliability of applications * Perform root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements Required Technical Skills Programming & Automation * Strong proficiency in Python. * Hands-on experience with automation frameworks. Testing Knowledge * Solid understanding of: * SDLC & STLC * Test case design techniques (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, etc.) * Experience in: * Functional Testing * Regression Testing * Integration Testing * System Testing Soft Skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities * Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset * Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment The base pay for this position is N/A In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
