Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 (2nd Shift) located in Salt Lake City, UT. What You'll Get to Do: • Performs a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products. • Performs tasks such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping; uses precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerance. Assembles, disassembles, repairs and reassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions. • May assemble and modifies prototype precision units for engineering personnel. • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. The ideal candidate must be able to work using a microscope, work with mechanical small parts, handle shock sensitive devices, and follow standard operation procedures or assembly instructions. Basic Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience. • Experience in mechanical assembly of small, fine-pitched parts. • Must be available for 2nd shift. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment. • Soldering certification or experience. • Previous experience working closely with Test and Manufacturing techs/engineers. • Experience using a microscope. • Experience with Shock Sensitive Devices. • Experience with mechanical small parts. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
