🌟 Position: Risk Manager 📍 Location: Working from home and in the London office 3 days a week 💼 Type: Full-time 📅 Start Date: Immediate We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Risk Manager to join our Project Controls team and play an important role in supporting our clients across a range of major construction projects. As a Risk Manager, you will work closely with our Project Controls, Project Management and Commercial teams to support the effective identification, assessment and management of project risks. You will help ensure that risks are understood, appropriately mitigated and effectively communicated to project stakeholders. Our Ambition (What we want to achieve): Re-imagine project controls through a digital lens, being the obvious choice for clients and the place to grow together with intention. 🔹 What’s in it for you? • At CMR you will have the opportunity to professionally develop like nowhere you have worked before. • If you demonstrate the capability, our merit-based system will enable you to develop quickly. • We use our in-house capability matrix to transparently track your progression and highlight development areas. • Join our small, dynamic team where every member has the chance to make a significant impact, shaping the future direction of our company and making a real difference. • We believe in rewarding our team for their achievements, celebrating our successes but equally helping each other when things are tough. 🔹 You’ll • Support the Project Management and Commercial Teams in the effective identification, assessment and management of project risks. • Facilitate and support risk workshops, ensuring key risks, opportunities and exposures are identified and appropriately captured. • Maintain project risk registers, ensuring risks are clearly defined in terms of causes, events, impacts and appropriate mitigation actions. • Work with project teams to assess the likelihood and impact of identified risks and support the development of effective and proportionate responses. • Monitor risk mitigation actions and work with stakeholders to ensure agreed actions are progressed and closed out. • Support the production of monthly project reports, providing accurate risk information, analysis and insight. • Assist with qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to help project teams understand potential cost and schedule exposure. • Identify trends, emerging risks and areas of concern, escalating these to senior members of the team where appropriate. • Build strong working relationships with project and client stakeholders, helping to promote a positive and proactive risk culture. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of CMR's risk management processes, tools and ways of working. • Support Senior Risk Managers and Project Controls Leads in delivering high-quality risk management services to our clients. 🔹 We’re looking for: Essential • Relevant experience within a project management, project controls or risk management environment. • Experience working on major construction or infrastructure projects. • A good understanding of risk management methodologies, mitigation processes and techniques. • Experience in developing and maintaining project risk registers. • Experience facilitating or supporting risk workshops with project stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret proje
