Job Description: We are seeking a Principal Enterprise Presales Architect to serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and sales teams, helping organizations simplify and automate how they deploy and manage workloads across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. In this highly customer-facing role, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with consultative presales skills to lead discovery, demonstrate solutions, develop architectures, and deliver proof-of-concepts that connect customer challenges to measurable business outcomes. Morpheus Enterprise is HPE’s hybrid-cloud automation and self-service orchestration platform, providing a unified management plane for provisioning, governance, automation, and cost optimization across complex cloud environments. Working closely with HPE sales, presales, engineering, product, and professional services teams, you will act as a technical champion for the platform while helping customers realize the value of Morpheus Enterprise and HPE’s broader Cloud Ops portfolio. Responsibilities: • Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer business needs, infrastructure environments, policies, and hybrid-cloud strategies. • Architect and position Morpheus Enterprise solutions across private, public, and hybrid-cloud environments. • Deliver compelling technical presentations, live demonstrations, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concepts (POCs). • Partner with sales teams and Morpheus sales specialists to qualify opportunities, develop solution strategies, and accelerate deals through the sales cycle. • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value, including automation, self-service, governance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization. • Develop solution proposals, technical responses to RFPs/RFIs, and ROI/business-case models. • Advise customers on virtualization, cloud orchestration, automation, and workload management strategies. • Collaborate with HPE presales, engineering, product management, and professional services to develop solutions and ensure successful customer handoffs. • Provide field insights and customer feedback to help influence product direction, technical enablement, and go-to-market strategies. • Develop and share technical best practices, playbooks, demonstrations, and customer success stories across the presales organization. • Stay current on hybrid-cloud technologies, hypervisors, automation tools, public-cloud platforms, and the competitive landscape. • Serve as a technical thought leader and trusted advisor to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred, or equivalent practical experience. • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, hybrid-cloud automation, solution architecture, or relate
