Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate (Level 2), Experienced (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Airplane Equipment Installation Design Engineer. Primary Responsibilities: • Develops and maintains basic electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas). • Develops and maintains basic cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Assists with engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). • Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. • Collects data to support the development of statements of work. • Assists in data gathering of supplier capabilities. • Reviews functional and physical input used in the development of integrated design and system architecture. • Individual shall be able to work under general direction Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Mechanical , Aeronautical or Electrical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. • 2+ years of experience with wire design/wire harness installation and/or equipment installation. • 2+ years of experience working with computer aided design (CAD) such as CATIA, Solidworks, Siemens, NX. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): • Level 3 : 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Level 4 : 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience in Model-Based Definition (CATIA V5 or higher, Solidworks, Siemens, NX), ENOVIA, and PDM • Experience using all the Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • Ability to quickly adapt to program tools and procedures • Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings. • Skill and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
