About the role

Job Description Executive Administrative Assistant   General Motors is searching for an Executive Assistant to perform a wide range of administrative tasks and support multiple executives at the Warren Technical Center. Success as the point person for the Advanced Engineering Execution team will rely on your excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding time management, and initiative to independently research and collect needed information. Accuracy and attention to detail when making travel arrangements, calendaring, and scheduling are key. Please read below:   Responsibilities:   • Conserve leaders’ time by assuming administrative details to expedite email and phone correspondence • Collaborate with GM Executives and their Admins on all levels • Schedule meetings and maintain dynamic calendars • Arrange U.S. and global travel, including passport, visa requirements, and expense reporting • Manage dedicated conference room scheduling • Exercise independent judgement in handling ambiguous tasks with minimal input from staff • Back up other admins as necessary • Lead multiple tasks while skillfully balancing interruptions • Update records, confidential files, and reports • Revise staff and department group distribution lists   Required:   • Associate Degree or equivalent experience • 2-5 years of demonstrated ability as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar administrative type role • High degree of discretion and confidentiality • Confidence to work independently on projects in a fast-paced environment with changing timelines • Skilled problem-solver with capability to determine solutions to unusual problems • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and video conferencing • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship leadership skills to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization as needed • High level of integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, take initiative/self-directed • Ability to work outside normal business hours as needed • Up-to-date, valid driver’s license   GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
