About the role

PeopleCert is looking for a strategic and commercially minded Head of Media to lead brand media strategy and planning across our global portfolio, including ITIL®, PRINCE2®, DevOps Institute® and LanguageCert® . Combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, you will translate audience insights and business priorities into integrated media plans that build brand visibility, consideration and demand. You will work across functions to optimise investment and deliver measurable impact across B2B and B2C audiences, supporting the customer journey towards conversion. As a Head of Media, your tasks will include the following: • Develop and lead brand media strategies across digital and emerging channels, aligned with business objectives, priority audiences and markets. • Own brand media planning and investment allocation across brands and markets to strengthen awareness, consideration and demand. • Oversee brand campaign execution across paid social, programmatic, video and other relevant channels. • Translate audience research, market trends and competitive intelligence into effective targeting and channel selection. • Work closely with the wider Marketing, Sales and Digital Experience teams to integrate brand media into campaign development and align with performance activity. • Use audience insights and first-party data to improve targeting and relevance across the customer journey. • Set clear brand media objectives and KPIs, monitoring reach, frequency, brand lift, cost efficiency and contribution to demand. • Collaborate with Data & Insights and Digital Experience teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness and the contribution of brand media to subsequent conversion. • Manage media budgets, agencies, technology vendors and platform partnerships, ensuring transparency, accountability and value. • Establish a structured test-and-learn approach to evaluate new channels, formats and technologies. • Stay ahead of developments in adtech, AI-driven discovery, audience targeting and measurement. • Report to senior leadership on media effectiveness, budget efficiency and recommended actions. What we look for: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Business or a related discipline. A relevant Master’s degree would be an asset. • 8–10 years of experience in media strategy, planning and execution, with proven expertise in digital brand campaigns and senior-level responsibility. • Experience at leading media agencies and/or international brands with in-house digital teams. • Deep knowledge of paid social, programmatic, video, audience planning and integrated brand media. • A proven track record of managing significant budgets and delivering measurable improvements in brand awareness, consideration and demand. • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C audiences, brand measurement and the relationship between brand and performance activity. • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with experience using research and campaign insights to guide investment. • Experience managing agencies and influencing senior stakeholders across functions and markets. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired; LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus). • Advanced computer literacy is required; ECDL Advanced level certification is desirable. • Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools, with an interest in AI and emerging technologies.
