About the role Plentific is growing, and so is the number of teams who need clear, reliable data to make decisions. We're hiring a Data & Strategy Analyst to help teams across the business make better data led decisions. You'll turn commercial questions into the right KPIs, dashboards and insights. This is a Commercial role. You'll sit in the Supply Chain team and work with Customer Excellence, Supply Chain Delivery, Go-to-Market and the leadership teams, alongside Data Engineering. Data Engineering builds and models the data. Your job is to understand what the business needs, pick the right measures and give teams answers they can act on. You'll also use AI in your daily work to get to insight faster and cut down on manual reporting. What you'll do • Build and own a KPI framework. For each team, work out which KPIs matter, agree clear definitions and keep them consistent so everyone works from one version of the truth. • Build dashboards in Looker. Turn existing data into clear, well-designed dashboards for areas such as transactional revenue, contractor supply and performance, and client health. • Build predictive workflows. Move teams from looking back to looking ahead. Use trends and leading indicators to flag issues early, such as contractor capacity gaps, at-risk clients or slowing job volumes, and build them into workflows and alerts so teams act before problems land. • Identify and size growth opportunities. Spot where we can grow, such as clients with headroom, under-used services, regions with unmet demand or gaps in supply with a clear recommendation and next step. • Run commercial analysis. Carry out ad-hoc and strategic deep dives for business cases, board and leadership packs, client reviews and commercial decisions. • Work with Data Engineering. When the business needs new data fields or models, turn that need into a clear requirement for the team. • Use AI to explore data. Draft insights and speed up analysis, and apply the judgement and checks that keep the output accurate. What success looks like in your first 6 months • An agreed, documented KPI set for Supply Chain Delivery and Customer Excellence teams. • Used data to map a core process end to end, find where it breaks down, and redesign it to improve the team's performance • Core dashboards live and used by those teams in their regular reviews What we're looking for • 4-5 years experience in a data, business intelligence, commercial analyst or strategy analyst role • Strong hands-on business intelligence tool experience (Looker is preferred), incl
