We at Northrop Grumman Missions Systems are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer for Integration & Test in Woodland Hills, CA Key Responsibilities: • Identifying unique requirements from a broad customer base, flowing the requirements into design documentation, and working with a diverse team to build and test those requirements. • Work on the capabilities of current products, performance analyses, design information, and requirements verification methods. • Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. • Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation. • Generate, review, and manage multiple requirements sets that cover all aspects of both performance and nonperformance including mechanical interfaces, electrical interfaces, data requirements, environmental requirements, and reliability. • Awareness and responsiveness to contract milestones and deliverables. • Work with an Agile team to ensure the designs are sufficient to meet the system requirements. • Work with various Agile teams to ensure all requirements are verified through inspection, analysis, demonstration, or test often by providing test and data reduction scripts. • Facilitate test directions to ensure production tests and troubleshooting tests are executed correctly and resulting data conforms to requirements. • Develop simulation models for sensors and systems. This requisition may be filled as a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer. Basic Qualifications for Systems Engineer: • Bachelor's of Science degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2+ years of engineering experience; Master's Science degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) • Experience in System Engineering activities such as: • Software requirements development • Requirements development • Test Case development • Verification and Validation i.e. experience running tests and documenting results • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance is required • Ability to work onsite full-time at Woodland Hills, CA Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer: •
