Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Software Quality Analyst located in Huntsville, AL . Roles & Responsibilities: • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures. • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures. Thoroughly documents all work • Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives • Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract • Reviews software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements. Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies • Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. • Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) Facilitator who oversees the entire RCCA lifecycle from Problem statement through reconciliation, including monitoring status of corrective actions and preventative actions, review/analyze/defect data, monitoring test problem report data and closure status, including full documentation and reporting to all stakeholders • Lead and support internal and external audits and complete reports • Assist Program Quality Managers with Mission Assurance/Program Management requirements and metrics • Support fielded major end items (MEI) Integration of software as needed • Prepare and/or present data in management-level presentations • Ability to read documentation such as contractual standards and program plans. Statements of work (SOW) and requirements • Proficient in industry Quality Standards • Ability to initiate and work corrective actions (CARs) through completion and sign-off Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience in at least one of the following areas: Engineering, Production/Ma
