About the role

We are seeking a Program Finance Senior Analyst to join our Program Finance team, supporting our Global Development organization in a hybrid work model. In this role, you will provide financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis support for development programs while collaborating with Program Management, Development teams, Clinical Project Managers, Strategic Alliance Management, Accounting, and external collaborators. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization making a meaningful difference to patients worldwide. When & where: Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid) Discover your role: • Own financial support for assigned development programs and collaborations, including quarterly forecasts, monthly actuals reporting, and variance analysis. • Build detailed clinical trial budgets and monitor study financials through completion. • Translate development plan activities into detailed forecasts for internal and external clinical costs and maintain forecasts within Hyperion. • Partner with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, Accounting, and external collaborators to communicate program financial performance and P&L implications. • Produce Global Development cost center reporting, monthly spend tracking, and variance analyses while maintaining governance-aligned budget controls. • Lead initiatives that streamline processes, standardize financial templates, and implement standard processes across therapeutic areas. • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and present actionable recommendations that support informed business decisions. • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables. This role requires: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, scientific, or quantitative field. • 3-5 years minimum relevant experience, with demonstrated ability in forecasting, budgeting, and/or business partnering ideally within a science or research-driven environment. • Experience developing financial forecasts, budgets, actuals reporting, variance analysis, and business performance insights. • Ability to translate operational plans into detailed financial forecasts and manage financial data within Hyperion. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to convert findings into actionable business solutions. • Experience identifying, communicating, and implementing operational improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Proven ability to manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of work. • Experience in pharmaceutical clinical development and knowledge of the drug development continuum, including critical path activities and functional interdependencies, is a plus.
