Job Description Summary Area Manager, North Location : Taipei #LI-On-site We are looking for an experienced, inspiring people leader to join us as Area Manager. In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing field sales team, translate brand and therapeutic area strategy into strong local execution, and deliver agreed commercial objectives across your geography. Join us and help reimagine medicine by building an empowered sales team, strengthening customer partnerships, and delivering greater impact for patients.   Job Description Major accountabilities:  • Deliver sales, market share, and profitability objectives by identifying local opportunities and risks and using data, analytics, and competitor insights to prioritize action and support forecasting. • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Representatives, creating a high-performance culture built on clear objectives, accountability, structured coaching, and development planning. • Conduct regular field coaching, joint customer visits, and feedback sessions, with appropriate documentation and alignment to International Commercialization Excellence standards, KPIs, and targets. • Use field effectiveness assessment to create targeted capability-building plans in partnership with Execution Excellence. • Lead the adoption of new commercialization models, technology, processes, and ways of working, ensuring consistent execution across the team. • Drive effective customer segmentation, value-based tiering, call-plan adherence, personalized omnichannel engagement, tailored content use, and timely CRM documentation. • Build strong partnerships with key customers and stakeholders and enable effective cross-functional collaboration to maximize patient and business impact. • Contribute to call-plan handshake meetings and share actionable insights on customer needs, market dynamics, competitor activity, and field best practices. • Analyze territory performance, align team priorities, and turn field insights into meaningful recommendations for the Brand Team. Requirements: • At least 5 years of sales experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or a related industry, including people-management experience. • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams within a pharmaceutical company. • Knowledge of oncology or specialty portfolios is preferred. • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio and prioritize resources effectively. • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to unite teams and lead through change. • Sound understanding of the evolving dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry.   Skills Desired Change Management, Coaching, Collaboration, Commercial Excellence, Complexity Management, Leadership, Mentorship, Professional Ethics
