About the role

Field Medical Affairs Lead – Haematology    | Germany | Field-based Are you an experienced Medical Affairs leader who is passionate about translating scientific strategy into meaningful outcomes for patients? As Field Medical Affairs Lead – Haematology, you will lead a team of Regional Medical Affairs Managers across Germany and drive the aligned execution of national medical plans across the therapeutic area. You will build strong scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, generate insights to guide strategy, and ensure excellent medical engagement. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Lead and develop the MSL hematology team, providing coaching, performance feedback and career development. Design and deliver a medical engagement plan to build scientific relationships with hematology experts and clinical centres across Germany. Gather and translate field insights into actionable recommendations for medical strategy and evidence planning. Support medical education activities, advisory boards and investigator-initiated research collaborations. Ensure scientific communication meets high standards of accuracy, integrity and compliance with local regulations. Work closely with cross-functional partners including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access and Commercial to align on medical objectives and launch readiness. Why You? Basic Qualifications: We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals Advanced scientific or clinical degree (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent). Strong experience supporting product launch activities and local launch readiness. Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical affairs, medical science liaison roles, or relevant clinical roles in hematology. Strong clinical knowledge of hematology practice and treatment landscapes in Germany. Proven people management or team lead experience with ability to coach and develop colleagues. Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken. Ability and willingness to travel regularly across Germany; role is hybrid with a balance of field work and office/home-based work. Preferred Qualifications If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus - Experience supporting product launch activities and local launch readiness. - Experience in evidence generation, real-world data or clinical research collaboration oversight. - Familiarity with CRM tools and digital platforms used for scientific engagement and data capture. - Experience working in a matrix environment with strong cross-functional partnering skills. - Prior involvement in advisory boards, congress planning or medical education programs. - Understanding of the German healthcare system, reimbursement and market access considerations.
