About the role

Job Purpose  The Brand Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of the product brand strategy in Portugal, ensuring sustainable growth, strong stakeholder engagement and flawless execution of commercial priorities. The role focuses on improving outcomes for patients with myelofibrosis through customer-centric and compliant brand activities, in line with GSK’s values and Code of Conduct.   Working in close partnership with Medical, Market Access, Commercial, Public Affairs, Finance, Omnichannel, Business Excellence and Global teams, the Brand Manager maximizes patient access and optimizes brand’s performance throughout its lifecycle. The role drives strategic planning, tactical implementation, budget management and performance monitoring while ensuring full compliance with GSK policies, local regulations and industry codes.   Key Responsibilities    Strategic Leadership  · Develop and execute the annual brand plan aligned with local and global priorities.  · Translate customer, market and competitive insights into actionable strategies and tactical plans.  · Continuously assess market dynamics, competitive landscape and evolving customer needs to identify growth opportunities.    Commercial Excellence  · Deliver brand sales, market share, patient and financial objectives.  · Monitor brand performance through defined KPIs and recommend corrective actions where required.  · Lead forecasting activities in partnership with Finance and Supply teams.  · Manage the brand budget effectively and ensure optimal allocation of resources.    Customer and Stakeholder Engagement  · Partner with KAMs and HAMs to support customer engagement plans and account prioritisation.  · Design and execute impactful omnichannel campaigns and customer-facing materials, orchestrating the customer journey across key touchpoints.  · Collaborate with key opinion leaders, scientific societies and relevant external stakeholders to strengthen disease and product awareness.  · Support congresses, educational initiatives and scientific exchange activities in collaboration with the Medical Team.    Cross-Functional Leadership  · Lead the brand cross-functional brand team, fostering collaboration and shared ownership of brand objectives.  · Work closely with Medical, Market Access, Public Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Commercial teams to ensure aligned execution.  · Influence stakeholders in a matrix environment, aligning differing priorities and driving decision-making without direct authority.  · Act as Commercial Content Owner for promotional materials, partnering with Medical, Commercial Governance and Compliance to ensure robust review, approval and monitoring of content.    Insights and Analytics  · Gather and interpret customer, market and competitive intelligence from internal and external sources.  · Utilise insights to refine strategy and optimise execution.  · Track campaign effectiveness and return on investment, in partnership with Business Excellence.  · Communicate performance updates and recommendations to leadership teams through structured reviews.    Compliance and Governance  · Ensure all activities comply with GSK policies, GSK Code of Conduct, local regulations and industry codes.  · Maintain high standards of ethical promotion and patient-centric decision making.  · Support governance reviews, business planning processes and periodic performance reviews.    Required Qualifications  · University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Marketing, Economics or related field.  · Solid experience in pharmaceutical marketing, product management or related commercial functions.  · Experience in hospital markets.  · Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.  · Demonstrated project management a
