Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us. The opportunity: At Flexport, we make global trade easier for everyone — and enterprise fulfillment is where that promise gets tested at scale. As an Operations Solutions Manager, you'll sit at the intersection of commercial growth and operational execution, partnering daily with Sales, Account Management, Ops, Implementation, Solutions Engineering, Product, Tech, and Pricing to scope fulfillment solutions for high-volume, operationally complex enterprise clients. You'll be the one turning a client's ambitious (and often messy) requirements into a warehouse process that actually works — designing pick/pack flows, slotting strategy, and WMS/ERP integrations, then staying in the room through implementation to make sure what was sold gets delivered. The work is inherently ambiguous: no two enterprise clients want the same thing, so you'll build reusable frameworks as you go rather than following an existing playbook. If you can translate a pallet layout into a client-ready proposal, you'll fit right in here. You will: • Partner with Sales to scope fulfillment solutions for prospective enterprise clients, serving as the operational SME in client-facing conversations on capabilities and custom flows • Own solution design from pre-sale through onboarding, including time studies, equipment cost scoping, and total cost-to-serve estimates. • Design warehouse workflows and process flow diagrams (inbound, putaway, pick/pack, returns) for non-standard requirements — WMS/ERP configurations, storage methodology, slotting — with an explicit cost lens to flag workflows that break at scale. • Identify gaps in product capabilities and operational processes, and build the business case for tooling, process, or headcount investments. • Propose implementation timelines based on scope of work and technical/ops readiness. • Establish reusable frameworks and best practices for onboarding and solutioning enterprise accounts. You should have: • 5+ years of hands-on warehouse operations experience with process/industrial engineering fundamentals, including slotting/cube optimization, facility layout design, capacity analysis, and space planning. • Experience building or validating cost-to-serve/pricing models, ideally from deal desk or pricing conversations. • Strong working knowledge of WMS and ERP platforms and how they integrate in a fulfillment environment. • Cross-functional experience with Sales, Account Management, Ops, Implementation, Solutions Engineering, Product, Tech, and Pricing in a solutions or pre-sales capacity, moving fluidly between operational detail and client-facing communication. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to translate operational constraints for commercial stakeholders. • Comfort with ambiguity, a bias toward building structure where none exists, and willingness to travel 50%. • A ""compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily
