Job Details: Job Description: The Role and Impact As a Product Development Engineering Manager, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for driving the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from feasibility through production ramp. Your expertise will directly influence product design and supply chain requirements, ensuring quality, efficiency, and operational excellence. In this role, you'll oversee team efforts, manage resources, and collaborate across multiple functions to deliver high-impact outcomes that align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities - Direct and manage the product development engineering team to support testability, manufacturability, and quality throughout the product lifecycle. - Evaluate product designs and supply chain requirements to optimize manufacturing processes, tools, and procedures. - Lead cross-functional projects to resolve roadblocks, aligning efforts to operational goals through collaboration with design, validation, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. - Drive yield and quality improvement activities through data analysis, debug, root-cause investigation, and implementation into production. - Oversee cost-reduction strategies, including test time optimization and continuous improvement methodologies. - Provide clear goal-setting, differentiated performance management, and accountability to ensure team success. - Communicate manufacturing project status, risks, and outcomes to leadership forums. - Inspire team growth and development while fostering a supportive and productive work environment. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with 12+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 8+ years of experience OR PhD with 6+ years of experience in product development engineering or a similar domain. - Proficiency in manufacturing processes, systems, and tools used for quality assurance and testability. - Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering results in product development cycles. - Expertise in data analysis and problem-solving methodologies, including root-cause investigation and debug techniques. - Demonstrated capability in effective resource planning and operational management. Preferred Qualifications - Advanced leadership experience with a focus on driving team performance and developing talent. - Strong communication and collaboration skills for engaging with stakeholders across business units. - Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques and methodologies for driving operational excellence. - Passion for innovation and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
