About the role
Job Title Operational buyer MR Job Description Job Responsibilities: • Conducts inventory analysis, handles supply chain master data setup and maintenance, manages product life cycles, takes ownership of inventory management, implements buy-item stock and replenishment policies, monitors item changes, and implements supplier-managed and owned inventories within enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. • Implements inventory strategies, updates procurement master data settings including key replenishment materials and conducts daily monitoring through ERP to identify and leverage stock optimization opportunities based on material characteristics and trends. • Analyzes Order Management Module (OMM) KPIs, proposes corrective or preventive actions, monitors continuous improvement progress through analytical tools, and handles master data setting and stock levels during the Industrialization phase to ensure smooth production ramp-up. • Supports organizational product development lifecycle management process by actively engaging in milestones, ensuring timely completion of key deliverables like maintaining accurate replenishment-related master data, participating in packaging instruction creation for suppliers, and determining shelf-life master data. • Monitors special materials and exceptions, and conducts simulations for optimal safety stocks and lot-sizing procedures, including monitoring coefficients for seasonal or trend patterns. • Generates Purchase Orders to suppliers, monitors order status regarding delivery time, quality, and price, resolves moderate Purchase Order issues and validates order quantities within stock levels by consolidating orders for individual suppliers when necessary. • Communicates forecasts to suppliers, validates them, plans forecast along with suppliers through meetings and supply availability checks, and ensures alignment and balance between material planning and production planning. • Places orders with suppliers, monitors the order package for delivery time, quality, and price, tracks order confirmations, manages open orders, expedites when necessary, and ensures Enterprise Resource Planning software is consistently updated with relevant information. • Identifies moderate material shortage risks across suppliers, handles return orders, implements mitigation strategies, including involving procurement for commercial leverage when necessary, and ensures efficient supply chain operations within n-tier supplier networks. • Monitors consignment stock at suppliers, conducts regular stock takes, and manages materials provided to vendors, such as those for repair or rework purchase orders, and regular stock takes. You will be fit if: Bachelor's Degree/ Vocational Education in Business Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Data Analysis and Statistics, Business Analytics or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience required with bachelor’s or master’s Degree OR minimum 4 years of experience with Vocational Education in areas such as Material Planning, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
