This is a Hybrid role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Design in the Product Management department. The AI-Native Staff Product Designer is a hybrid of world-class design craft, systems thinking, and the ability to build what they design with the help of AI. This role designs and delivers end-to-end product experiences across Zscaler’s portfolio, using tools like Figma alongside AI-powered design and prototyping tools - from discovery through execution. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and AI teams, they create intuitive, cohesive experiences that drive adoption and retention while continuously evolving our UX practice as AI capabilities mature. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) • Lead end-to-end product design for complex, data-dense enterprise cybersecurity workflows across multiple Zscaler products, from discovery through implementation and iteration • Design intuitive experiences for highly technical, configuration-heavy environments, balancing usability, clarity, scalability, and power • Translate concepts into working prototypes and implementation-ready solutions, using AI tools alongside Figma to accelerate ideation, design exploration, and front-end code generation • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Content Design, Research, Data Science, and AI teams to define problems, align requirements, and deliver cohesive user experiences • Evolve design systems, UX standards, and AI-native design practices while maintaining a high bar for quality and mentoring junior team members Who You Are (Success Profile) • Thrive in ambiguity, seeing dynamic environments and complex challenges as raw material to build meaningful solutions. • Operate with a strong ownership mindset, combining a passion for the mission with high integrity and the ability to navigate seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution. • Build high-trust collaboration across teams, prioritizing collective success and engaging constructively with feedback delivered with clarity and respect. • Maintain deep customer obsession, building empathy for both internal and external users to champion their real-world needs and ensure their success. • Act as a pragmatic builder with a passion for creating, iterating, and shipping valuable user experiences rapidly without compromising on quality.
