About the role

Job Details: Job Description: About the Role Join Intel's graphics software team and help deliver high-quality GPU experiences in AI domain.   As a GPU Software Engineer, you will develop, validate, debug, and optimize graphics software and GPU driver solutions across Intel platforms. You will work at the intersection of software and hardware, partnering with engineering teams to bring new graphics capabilities to market and solve complex system-level issues. This is an opportunity to develop hands-on expertise across GPU architecture, graphics drivers, validation, debugging, performance, compute, and AI workloads.     What You’ll Do Key responsibilities will include but not limited to: • Develop and execute end-to-end validation solutions for GPU software, graphics drivers, and applications. • Debug and resolve complex software, driver, and system-level issues impacting GPU functionality, quality, and performance. • Triage defects, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to drive issues to resolution. • Develop and maintain software, automation, and debugging tools that improve validation efficiency and product quality. • Analyze cross-component interactions and identify potential quality, performance, and compatibility issues. • Perform validation, triage, and debugging of GPU compute drivers, runtime layers, and AI framework integration failures across software and hardware teams. • Integrate latest AI features into end-to-end validation flows and analyze cross-component interactions to develop robust test scenarios. • Develop and maintain automation tools, benchmarking suites, and frameworks to improve validation and debug efficiency across AI compute and runtime components. • Optimize software performance, memory efficiency, and quality for emerging AI workloads, deep learning inference, and agentic applications. • Enable and validate forthcoming AI hardware acceleration capabilities for Intel's GPU platforms. • Collaborate on cross-OS software development and validation for GPU-accelerated AI and machine learning workloads.   Behavioral traits that we are looking for: • Technical curiosity: Motivated to understand how software, GPU hardware, drivers, operating systems, and applications interact. • Problem-solving: Uses structured analysis and data to troubleshoot complex technical issues and identify root causes. • Proactive ownership: Identifies potential issues or opportunities early, takes initiative, and follows problems through to resolution. • Collaboration: Works effectively across software, hardware, validation, and architecture teams to solve cross-functional problems. • Communication: Clearly communicates technical findings, risks, and recommendations to technical stakeholders. • Learning agility: Quickly learns new GPU architectures, graphics technologies, tools, APIs, and development environments. • Quality mindset: Demonstrates attention to detail and considers product quality, reliability, performance, and the end-user experience when making technical decisions. • Adaptability: Effectively manages changing requirements and priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment   Intel invests in our people and offers a complete and competitive package of benefits employees and their families through every stage of life.  • See  Intel Benefits  for more details.  Qualifications:  You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
