WHY: The purpose of this role is to lead and develop the team of integration engineers who release End of Line (EoL) test and flash support for vehicle production, while improving plant processes, protecting the plant/customer from electrical defects, and driving better EFTQ. WHAT: As a Manufacturing Software Integration Supervisor, you will lead a team of Software Engineers responsible for integration and supporting manufacturing software, flash, and test systems across plants and launches, while driving resolution, cross-functional alignment, and execution to protect EFTQ and overall launch readiness. HOW: Supporting the plants to make it happen for our customers. Work Arrangement - Onsite The successful candidate is expected to report to the Warren Tech Center on a full-time basis. This role requires up to 25% domestic and international travel. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities): · Lead the day-to-day execution of the MSIE team, ensuring reliable support for End of Line test/flash and vehicle production testing across GMNA. · Develop the strength of the organization by coaching performance, building employee capability, supporting career growth, and helping select new talent. · Own process performance improvement by identifying gaps in End of Line operations and driving actions that improve pass rates, throughput, and system effectiveness. · Drive cross-functional launch and plant alignment by partnering with manufacturing, product, IT, and launch teams to resolve issues, improve EFTQ, and support successful software deployment. · Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges. · Build and nurture strategic relationships across various functions including software, manufacturing, and program management to synergize efforts towards future innovations. Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications): • Proven ability to lead, mentor, coach, train and evaluate engineers while supporting career growth and building team capability. • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics • Proven ability to quickly assess plant issues, provide useful feedback and remove roadblocks before they impact throughput or quality • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functional teams and build strong plant/customer relationships What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications): • Experience with CAN, DTCs, DIDs, network topologies. • Plant launch and production support experience • Experience working with the GVDP and corresponding elements for Manufacturing Software Readiness GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
