About the role

Fab IT Support is a specialized IT function embedded within a semiconductor manufacturing facility. Unlike traditional corporate IT, Fab IT bridges enterprise IT infrastructure with highly automated cleanroom production systems. Its primary role is to ensure continuous system availability and production uptime, as even minutes of downtime can significantly impact operations and costs. Responsibilities: • Hardware Deployment: Install, configure and provision new computers in the FAB in accordance with established standards and best practices. • Cleanroom Compliance: Maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot IT hardware (desktops, terminals, printers, scanning devices, and HMIs) within cleanroom environments while adhering to strict contamination, safety and gowning protocols • Critical Incident Response: Provide immediate, high-priority troubleshooting for production-critical systems to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 assembly line and wafer-processing operations. • ITIL Service Operations: Manage incidents, service requests and hardware lifecycle tickets using ITSM platforms like Jira Service Management, ServiceNow or Remedy • Asset Tracking: Maintain accurate IT inventory and hardware lifecycle records for all endpoints deployed across the cleanroom and sub-fab areas. • Server Operations: Monitor server performance, capacity and health; ensure uptime, availability, and optimal performance. • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. • Experience (1+ years) in systems support, IT operations or manufacturing IT environments.  • Strong ability to communicate and explain technical issues to process engineers, cleanroom operators and non-technical business stakeholders. • Experience with ITIL frameworks and incident, problem and change management processes.  Additional Skills: • Strong IT troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Strong sense of ownership and accountability. • This role will work on site in Roseville, CA. • This position works Monday-Friday, additional hours as necessary. • Indefinite US work authorized individuals only.  Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable About Bosch BOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives: • FIRST Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) • AWIM (A World In Motion) By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce – EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled.
