Job Details: Job Description: The Substrates Business Capacity and Capability Lead will lead a high-impact team of engineers with responsibility for the following enterprise-critical priorities: • Set direction for supplier technical capability assessments and readiness plans to ensure execution against critical product, technology, and customer timelines. • Assess the substrate supplier network's capacity, capability, scalability, and long-term readiness. • Partner across Intel organizations to define supply chain requirements aligned to Intel's product and foundry roadmaps. • Shape future capacity expansion plans and technical requirements required to enable next-generation products and technologies. • Drive supplier capacity expansion timelines, readiness checkpoints, and executive-level risk mitigation. • Maintain visibility to supplier network capacity, investment needs, and readiness for emerging technical building blocks. • Evaluate supplier investment requirements and collaborate across SBG and partner organizations to establish product cost, affordability, and price targets. • Build and sustain strategic engagement with in-network and out-of-network substrate, material, and equipment suppliers to maintain market intelligence, anticipate industry shifts, and advance Intel's leadership in substrate technology. • Serve as a senior interface with Intel Technology Development groups and business units to align supplier capacity, capability, and technology readiness to future product requirements. • Provide strategic oversight of second- and third-tier suppliers for critical substrate bills of materials. • Guide material development for critical substrate materials, including core, buildup, and solder resist. • Strengthen industry-wide supplier relationships to reduce business continuity risk associated with material constraints, shortages, or quality disruptions. • Ensure business unit development milestones are achieved by leading supplier execution for test vehicle builds, product new product introduction, and high-risk builds. • Sponsor substrate supplier engineering qualifications, as needed, for second- and third-tier material changes. • Partner with business units and customers to architect an affordable, resilient, and performance-enabling supply chain that maximizes business value through substrate strategy and engagement. • Provide enterprise program leadership by combining technical depth, business judgment, ecosystem and market awareness, and disciplined execution. • Operate with a customer-first mindset in a senior customer-facing role requiring mature leadership, executive communication, and program management experience in complex engineering organizations. • Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization through stakeholder leadership, customer orientation, and cross-functional alignment. • Apply structured problem solving, sound judgment, and decisive leadership to deliver results in ambiguous and high-stakes environments. Required Skills and Experience • Expertise in supply chain engineering, supplier management, data analysis, and regulatory compliance. • Proven ability to manage performance, drive results, and lead cross-functional teams and initiatives. • Experience managing semiconductor test equipment and tooling, as well as negotiating complex deals with suppliers or customers. Preferred Skills and Experience • Advanced understanding of semiconductor supply chains, tools, and processes. • Demonstrated ability to manage long-term supplier partnerships and execute cost reduction programs. • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. • Experience leading escalations, risk mitigation activities, and exec
