The pay range is $135,000.00 - $292,000.00 Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. The Director, Corporate Affairs – Priority Audiences reports to the Vice President, External Relations and is responsible for building and operationalizing Target's Priority Audiences capability across one or more strategic audience portfolios. This role develops audience-centered strategies that help the organization understand, prioritize, and engage the audiences most critical to Target's reputation and business objectives. Working across Community & Stakeholder Engagement, Government Affairs, Marketing, Enterprise Insights, Merchandising, and the field—including Global Supply Chain & Logistics (GSCL) and Stores—the Director aligns partners around shared audience priorities and engagement goals. By connecting audience insights with storytelling, stakeholder engagement, reputational risk, and engagement activation, this role creates connection, visibility, and cohesion across Public Affairs while ensuring Target's engagement strategies strengthen trust and advance enterprise priorities. Audience Strategy & Capability Development: Partner with the Vice President, External Relations to build and operationalize the Priority Audiences capability by leading strategy and planning for assigned audience portfolios. Develop audience strategies, engagement approaches, governance, and planning routines that embed audience priorities into enterprise initiatives and business decisions.
