Our team is chartered with providing innovative technologies to develop, design, and produce optimized product lines across multiple customers while providing a decisive advantage to the warfighter. We are excited for you to join our team working on challenging and diverse assignments in a collaborating research and development environment. The position is located on-site in Boulder, CO. Boulder is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and only 25 miles from downtown Denver. Position Overview: As a Sensor Fusion and Tracking Algorithms Software Engineer – Level 2 or 3, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, testing, and implementing extendable / reusable algorithms to improve fusion and tracking capabilities. Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to providing technical documentation to support customer engagements. Essential Functions: • Performance analysis of tracking and state estimation algorithms • Tool and prototype development using modern C++ and Python  • Algorithm defect tracking and resolution • Work in cross-discipline teams and communicate clearly across various levels of engineers • Technical documentation input as required • Input to customer-facing presentations   The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.   This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. This requisition may be filled at either a Software Engineer – Level 2 or a Principal Software Engineer – Level 3. Basic Qualifications: • Software Engineer – Level 2:   Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and 0-2 years of related experience. • Principal Software Engineer – Level 3:   Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 year with a PhD. • Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance and the time of application, with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance. • Experience with modern C++, development tools, and integrated development environments (IDEs) • Ability and willingness to travel 10% to support
