About the role
Role Overview: Perform as an individual developer for the project team in automotive diagnostic content generation for Bosch IAM tool chain. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and author automotive diagnostic content with strong knowledge in vehicle communication networks (CAN/SAE/Flexray/LIN/KWP/MOST/UDS/CANFD/DOIP) • Perform vehicle diagnostic content authoring and validation • Conduct vehicle testing and diagnostics of various ECU/ADAS applications • Create and calibrate application sequences for ADAS controllers with calibration/reset functions • Execute reverse engineering processes and implement/validate using vehicle simulators • Extract service manuals from OEM portals and perform reverse engineering with OEM tools • Manage diagnostic assets including identification, DTC, sensor data, actuators, and special tests • Utilise Vector tools and Samtec tools such as CANdela, CANoe, CANdiva, ODX Studio, HSX, HS+, and ODX data • Apply excellent problem identification and solving skills with exposure to CAR and 8D methodologies Required Experience: • Experience in handling OEM/IAM vehicle diagnostic tools • Experience in vehicle diagnostic content authoring and validation • Experience in reverse engineering processes and implementation/validation using vehicle simulators • Experience in vehicle testing and diagnostics of various ECU systems • Experience in ADAS application sequence creation and calibration • Vehicle knowledge with ADAS controllers with calibration/reset functions Technical Knowledge: • Strong knowledge in vehicle communication networks (CAN/SAE/Flexray/LIN/KWP/MOST/UDS) and related protocols • Thorough knowledge of diagnostic assets (identification, DTC, sensor data, actuators, and special tests) • Knowledge of ODX data and AUTOSAR (preferable) • Exposure to programming languages such as Python, C#, SQL (added advantage) Desired Certifications: • On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) Certification • SAE J2534 Programming & Diagnostics Certification • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Certifications • Certifications related to DOIP B.E/B. Tech, M.E/M. Tech 3 to 6 Years
