You'll report into our Head of Group Accounting, work alongside another Senior Accountant and closely with colleagues across AP/AR, FP&A and HR. Because the team is lean, we're looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, proactively gets the information they need and enjoys bringing structure and improvements to an evolving environment. Prepare VAT declarations and recurring tax filings, including reviewing expenses for tax purposes, coordinate year-end documentation and annual tax requirements, and act as a key point of contact for our external tax adviser. • Connect the dots across Finance. Approve supplier invoices, review and book payroll journals from our external payroll provider, and work with our Finance Operations team on payment processing and control and on creditor and customer reconciliations. Work closely with HR, AP/AR and FP&A to make sure everything needed for closing is complete and accurate, proactively following up on missing information rather than waiting for inputs to arrive. • Contribute to the wider group. Manage intercompany reconciliations and support the preparation of group financial statements, giving you visibility beyond the German entity and across our international organisation. • Strengthen how we work. Help improve accounting processes and ways of working. Identify opportunities to simplify or automate recurring work and explore where AI and new tools can meaningfully improve our Accounting function.
