About the Role At Veeam, Solutions Architects work closely with sales providing solutions to problems. As well as helping to evangelize our product offerings to our partners, resellers and end users, they provide a subject matter level of expertise and engage with opportunities at a deeper level to ensure pre-sales and post-sales success. What You’ll Do • Engage with sales teams in supporting sales opportunities from pre-sales through post-sales relationships • Provide architectural designs and engage in large scale proof of concepts, technical alliance validations, and post-sales deployments supporting Veeam service delivery partners • Provide subject matter expertise in the Veeam product suites to customers, partners, and internal Veeam teams • Develop whitepapers, best practice guides, competitive analysis documentation, and compete strategies as required to support deployment engagements and sales opportunities • Be an active contributor in the Veeam Community Forums • Attend marketing and technical presentations representing Veeam at a subject matter expert level What You’ll Bring • Deep experience with hypervisor technologies from multiple vendors including Vmware, Microsoft and RedHat. • Hands on experience of large and complex datacenter infrastructure operations • Experience and understanding of the top three Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud) • Experience with relational database software. • Experience with programming/scripting language for automation • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Be comfortable presenting to groups, both on the phone and in person • Be available to travel within the assigned region as directed • Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly • Possess project management skills • Demonstrated expert capabilities in focused solutions • Demonstrated logical mindset and problem solving skills • Fluent English speaker What You’ll Get • 25 paid vacation days, plus 4 extra global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares • Private medical, dental, and vision insurance with dependent enrolment • Life insurance with enhanced coverage and global 24/7 protection • Income protection after 26 weeks, covering a portion of salary • Defined contribution pension plan with employer match • Worldwide travel insurance for business and leisure, with option to enroll dependents • Employee Assistance Program with therapy, legal, and financial support, plus online GP services and wellbeing programs • Opportunities to learn and grow through on-demand libraries (LinkedIn Learning, O’Reilly), mentoring, workshops and learning events like our annual Global Day of Learning Please note: If an applicant is permanently located outside of the UK, Veeam reserves the right to decline the application for this position. #LI-AF1 Veeam Software is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination in any form on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by fed
