Job Description: Role Overview HPE is seeking an experienced Unstructured Data Sales Specialist to drive growth across some of the fastest-growing areas of enterprise data infrastructure, including AI, analytics, cyber resilience, rapid recovery, and file/object modernization. This is a revenue-generating sales role for someone who can create demand, develop pipeline, open new opportunities, and sell emerging technologies. The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise selling skills with enough technical depth to understand customer challenges, tell compelling technology stories, and connect differentiated capabilities to measurable business outcomes. Success in this role means more than responding to storage refreshes. You will help customers identify new ways to use their data, modernize legacy architectures, improve cyber resilience, accelerate AI and analytics initiatives, and simplify increasingly complex data environments. Key Responsibilities • Create and own qualified pipeline within assigned strategic accounts and territories. • Identify whitespace, competitive displacement opportunities, and new use cases beyond traditional storage refresh cycles. • Develop opportunities across: • AI infrastructure, inference and RAG • Analytics, data lakes and Lakehouse modernization • Cyber resilience and rapid recovery • Enterprise file and object storage • High-performance S3 and hybrid cloud data architectures • Lead consultative discovery to understand customer business, application, data, and infrastructure challenges. • Translate technical differentiation into outcomes such as faster recovery, improved AI performance, faster analytics, reduced infrastructure complexity, lower cost, and improved business agility. • Build a compelling why change, why now, why HPE value proposition. • Engage CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, data/AI leaders, infrastructure executives, architects, and application owners. • Partner with HPE account teams, Solution Architects, partners, ISVs, marketing, and product teams to advance opportunities and close business. • Develop and execute competitive strategies against incumbent and emerging data infrastructure providers. • Represent HPE at customer workshops, executive briefings, industry events, and partner engagements. What We’re Looking For • 7+ years of successful enterprise technology sales, specialist sales, or business development experience. • Demonstrated ability to create pipeline and close complex enterprise opportunities. • Experience selling storage, data infrastructure, AI infrastructure, analytics, data protection, or related technologies. • Strong consultative and value-based selling skills. • Ability to understand technical architectures and translate them into clear business value. • Proven ability to sell new or disruptive technologies where customer education and market creation are requir
