About the role
Become a part of our caring community The Workforce Management Professional 2 serves as a liaison between the Humana Government Business (HGB) segment and Human Resources to ensure compliance with the unique requirements of our government contracts. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with Humana Government Business directors/managers/key associates in the development of comprehensive staffing models and labor cost proposals. You will participate in audits by Government agencies and manage the maintenance of the HGB Position Tracking System. You will also manage HGB's relationship with our contingent labor vendor and assist with special projects assigned to the team. • Serve as a liaison between HGB and Human Resources to ensure compliance with the unique requirements of our government contracts. • Provide timely responses to requests for information from the HR Business Partners. • Provide guidance to Payroll on Service Contract Act requirements. • Ensure vacant positions are posted in Workday in a timely manner. • Work closely with HGB pricing team on the development of these models. • Read and understand RFP requirements. • Manage the maintenance of the HGB Position Tracking System with accurate and timely updates to information on staffing levels and authorized positions. • Produce the monthly report in a timely manner. • Support HGB by developing and issuing other routine and ad hoc reports from the Position Tracking System, Workday payroll system, and other sources. • Develop/maintain a positive relationship with HGB's contingent labor vendor. • Consult with leaders on their temporary staffing needs and provide guidance on most effective use of contingent labor. • Coordinate the screening and onboarding of temporary workers, verifying required training, ensuring they have required access, confirming approval of timecards, and processing accurate invoices. • Participate with Corporate Procurement in the development of contract terms and conditions and evaluate potential vendors that meet our government contracting requirements for small business spend. • Assist with special projects assigned to the team. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications • Our Department of Defense Contract requires U.S. citizenship for this position. • HGB is not authorized to do work in Puerto Rico per our government contract. We are not able to hire candidates that are currently living in Puerto Rico. • Bachelor's degree. • Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources dealing with compensation and confidential data. • Experienced with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas and graphs. Preferred Qualifications • Background with the Service Contract Act and government contracting. Additional information • Workstyle: This is a remote position. • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time (ET).
