They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store. The role of a Food & Beverage Expert - Adult Beverage can provide you with the skills and experiences of : • G uest service fundamentals and experience building relationships and converting guest interactions into sales • A dult beverage trends including seasonality, craft making, guest preference, flavor combinations and pairings and originations As a Food & Beverage Expert - Adult Beverage , no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: • Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: • Greet: • 10ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave • 4ft: greet the guest, smile and initiate a warm, helpful interaction • Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience • End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you • Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude • Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience • Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a full y stocked and clean liquor store shopping experience during all hours of operation, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task . • Execute F ood & B everage processes , including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandis e , instocks routines, proper disposals, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing backstock. • Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards . • Work with adult beverage vendors to proactively set, maintain and make planned changes to salesfloor merchandise displays and to keep an organized backroom space. • Review orders with vendors to ensure the proper product is instock for guests. • Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures. • Become familiar with your store’s adult beverage assortment, providing recommendations and insight to guests on owned and national brands for beer, wine, spirits and non alcoholic adult beverages . • Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures. • Adhere to all federal, state and local adult beverage laws as they apply to your business . • Appropriately use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines . • D emonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance . • Work in a safe manner at all times ; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. • Support g
