The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The Key Account Regional Distribution Leader (KAM RDL) for the Electrical Markets Division serves as the field-based extension of the National Key Account Manager, driving growth and execution across assigned national distribution partners and strategic accounts. This role is responsible for executing national account strategies, developing key customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning cross-functional resources to deliver sales, profitability, and market share objectives. The KAM RDL partners with distributor leadership, field sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of business plans, contracts, and growth initiatives across multiple regions and customer locations. As a Key Account Regional Distribution Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: • Support National Key Account Managers in executing strategic business plans for assigned national accounts and distribution partners. • Drive sales growth, market share expansion, and product conversion opportunities across multiple regions. • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders at national, regional, and local levels. • Execute national agreements, contracts, pricing programs, RFQs, and promotional initiatives. • Conduct business reviews to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and align growth strategies. • Partner with field sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain, and finance teams to support customer objectives. • Leverage analytics and customer insights to drive business planning, profitability, and strategic decision making. • Deliver training, marketing, merchandising, and demand-generation programs that enhance customer engagement and growth. • Serve as the primary field liaison supporting national account initiatives and execution. Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution • Two (2) years of direct sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment • Current, valid Driver’s License. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: • Four (4) years of sales, key account management, distribution, channel management, or business development experience in a private, public, government, or military environment • Experience managing strategic customer or distribution relationships across multiple locations or regions. • Strong business acumen with experience in pricing, profitability analysis, contracts, and business planning. • Experience conducting business reviews and presenting recommendations to customer leadership. •
