About the role
Job Title: Supply Chain Associate Location: London Competitive salary and benefits Introduction to role: Do you want to keep life-changing medicines moving and see the impact of your work reach patients every day? As a Supply Chain Associate, you will be central to how we plan, replenish and protect product availability across the UK. You will be the first line of response for customer enquiries, the guardian of master data accuracy, and a key contributor to smooth product launches and responsible discontinuations. You’ll build hands-on expertise in integrated business planning (IBP), distribution processes and inventory management while partnering closely with agents, wholesalers, Finance and cross-functional teams. Picture yourself using data to solve supply challenges, balancing service and stock to keep commitments to our patients. Accountabilities: Customer Management : Serve as the main point of contact via the supply chain inbox, answering supply queries, escalating product quality and patient enquiries appropriately, and ensuring all account queries are actioned within one business day. Master Data Integrity: Process and maintain customer master data, ensuring customer files are 100% accurate and all new accounts are validated, set up or deactivated within agreed timelines. Financial Controls and Credit Resolution: Liaise with the Finance team to resolve overdue and credit limit issues and ensure adherence to all relevant FCF controls. Quotation and Pricing Management: Investigate and process sales quotations with relevant agents and wholesalers daily; maintain pricing records and support website updates to ensure accurate, current information. Order Management and Replenishment: Generate and process orders; adjust inbound orders in line with the supply situation; manage weekly order replenishment to agent depots and act as the operational interface between the supply chain team and agents; create ad hoc orders for non-agency customers, including clinical trials, samples and large matrix orders. Inventory Lifecycle Support : Support inventory actions for UK product launches, discontinuations and lifecycle events under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager; communicate inventory positions to agents and align actions to stock holding policies. Demand and S&OP Contribution: Partner with the Supply Chain Coordinator to identify and manage demand changes in the UK market and provide inputs to monthly S&OP to secure continuous supply. Tools, Processes and Continuous Improvement: Work with the Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure tools and processes meet policy requirements; seek efficient, scalable solutions that improve customer service and supply efficiency, bringing structured, Lean ways of working to life. Agent and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in agent JOCs, contributing stock and inventory insights, actions and follow-through; collaborate with franchise and discontinuation teams to manage lifecycle and adverse event implications. Project and Analytical Work: Support projects requiring supply chain input; action ad hoc customer stock enquiries within 24 hours; track and adhere to supply parameters, using analysis to drive decisions and outcomes. Essential Skills/Experience: - Degree educated or comparable qualifications or work experience. - Strong communication skills. - Team player. - Self-starter with an attention to detail. - Highly numerate with strong analytical skills.
