About the Opportunity As a technician with Sanofi you will provide leadership and support to operations teams to ensure appropriate standards are met. You will execute planned mainteanance and operational equipment setup to the highest standard The role will involve the development and implementation of improvement initiatives in all manufacturing operations. About Sanofi Business Unit The multiple national award-winning Sanofi Waterford biopharmaceutical and medical device campus is located in Waterford on Ireland’s southeast coast. Established in 2001 and now with more than 650 employees, the site has seen more than €600m invested in state-of-the-art infrastructure and technology. Diversification continues to bring new products to Waterford and the expanded site portfolio continues to create new opportunities. Fill Finish is the department where product which treat rare conditions is filled and finished in a highly automated, sterile, controlled and regulated environment. Key responsibilities o To carry out repair and Maintenance tasks of all Process, so as to achieve an acceptable level of production output in full compliance with Quality and Safety and cGMP Standards o Input of data into Maintenance PM System including the operation of such systems o Working with one’s own initiative and assuming responsibility whenever the need arises o May be required to train others on all equipment, Maintenance tasks, set up procedures and safety awareness o To operate and maintain all equipment, so as to achieve an acceptable level of production output o Complete all duties as per relevant Sop’s o Adhere to all relevant dress requirements with respect to cGMP’s and PPE rules o Conduct all maintenance duties in a safe manner and report all safety issues or concerns o Maintain the required standard of housekeeping in both the maintenance workshop/facilities area. o Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time o Ensure good time keeping and attendance at place of work o Support team in achieving team goals and targets. o Attend Team meetings as required o Actively contribute to continuous improvements across the plant o Support and back up of all maintenance teams i.e. facilities and manufacturing when required o Ensure correct and accurate communication of equipment issues/PMs/repairs including reporting of serious downtime (via email) About You To excel in this role you will need to have: Essential requirements: o Junior & Senior Trade’s Certificate or an equivalent third level qualification o At least 5 years’ Experience working as a Maintenance Technician in a Multi-skilled Team environment o 2 years’ experience working as a Maintenance Technician in a pharmaceutical-manufacturing environment Pursue progress , discover extraordinary Better is out there. The salary range for this position is :€41,600.00 - €55,467 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
